Non-essential (or unconstitutional) Employees

Non-essential (or unconstitutional) Employees

“He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out of their substance.”
Declaration of Independence

The partial government shutdown has now gone on for over three weeks.  Hundreds of thousands of federal workers have been furloughed or being forced to work without pay (didn't we once call that slavery?)   The furloughed employees are what's called non-excepted or, in common parlance, non essential.  Excepted, or essential employees, are, for the most part, involved in work that preserves or protects human life and property.  Non-essential employees do everything else.  Now think about this.  Would any company survive or be profitable if a third or more of its workforce was “non essential” to its purpose?  That being said, what is the purpose of government?  According to our founding document, the Declaration of Independence, governments are instituted among men to secure their unalienable rights.  Among those are the right to life, liberty and property.  Federal government employees who are involved in securing those rights are performing a constitutional duty and function.
By definition, non-excepted employees do not.  Therefore, let's change the terminology.   Instead of non-excepted or non-essential, lets call them unconstitutional employees.
So as the sob stories come out about all the poor government workers who are not getting paychecks, let us think about those employees and their paychecks.  The IRS, made up of unconstitutional employees, steals your hard earned money and gives it to other unconstitutional employees, lavishing them with pay, benefits and job security that are often well above what most Americans receive, so they can perform jobs that attack our rights and steal our property.  I, for one, have no sympathy for these workers.  Oh, but their families....are dependent on money stolen from you and me!  Do we allow a thief to continue to steal just so he can keep feeding his family?  The Federal government is a criminal enterprise built on lies, shakedowns, protection rackets and theft.  Those in it who are participating in this malevolent acquisition of power and money deserve contempt, not sympathy.  If they had any scruples, they would use this opportunity to leave and do something that contributes to society rather than wait to return to a job that sucks the life and liberty out of its people.

Homework:  Read the list of reasons we declared independence from Britain.  You will see a whole list of activities our current government is engaged in.
